Designing with natural light has always been difficult to visualise and calculate. Computer modelling gives us the opportunity to fine tune designs and the feedback to work with the aesthetics of daylight at a responsive and quantifiable level.
We analyse shading in exterior spaces and animate sunlight moving through interiors at critical times of the year while interacting with solar shading devices. We also calculate Daylight Factor and point-in-time illumination as well as the more dynamic metrics of Spatial Daylight Autonomy and Annual Sun Exposure.
